DescriptionGemini 12: Gene Cernan and Gordon Cooper Signed Backup Crew Color Photo. A 10" x 8" silk finish professional quality photo of both in flight suits posed standing in a Gemini capsule. Signed in black felt tips: "Gene Cernan/ Gemini 12 Backup Pilot" and "Gordon Cooper/ Gemini 12 Back up Command Pilot". Cooper, of course, was one of the original Mercury Seven astronauts and flew on Mercury-Atlas 9 Faith 7 and Gemini 5. Cernan flew three times, twice to the moon: Gemini 9A, Apollo 10, and Apollo 17, where he was the last human to walk on the moon. A rare image and signature combination, only the second Heritage has offered. Excellent.
