    Five Miscellaneous Correspondences Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, all Certified and Encapsulated by Collectibles Authentication Guaranty. Includes the following:

    Photocopy of a Don Dwiggins Typed Letter Signed. Two pages, 8" x 10.5", Malibu; October 20, 1972. Dwiggins writes to the NASA Archivist, Lee D. Sawgesser, concerning Neil Armstrong and Dwiggins' predictions for a lunar landing in 1958.
    Copy of a Neil Armstrong Typed Letter Signed. One page, 8" x 8", Washington, D.C.; March 15, 1971. As Deputy Associate Administrator for Aeronautics at NASA, Armstrong writes to J.L. Philipps to thank him for gifting him a memento from Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin. Typed on NASA letterhead.
    Carbon Copy of a Neil Armstrong Invitation. One page, 8" x 10.5", no place; October 8, 1969. Thomas P. Stafford, Chief of the Astronaut Office at NASA, responds to an invitation for Neil Armstrong to attend the 16th Annual Space Convention.
    Neil Armstrong Typed Letter. One page, 8.5" x 11", no place; June 17, 1999. A short letter from the famous astronaut to George W.S. Abbey, the Director of NASA L.B. Johnson Space Center, in which he responds to an invitation to the 30th Anniversary of Apollo 11 and regretfully states that he will be unable to attend.
    Vietnam Veteran Autograph Letter Signed. One page, 6" x 9", Miami; May 10, 1980. A letter from a group of veteran amputees who request autographed photographs from Armstrong. Accompanied by the original transmittal envelope.

    Very good quality, with usual mail folds and light soiling. All individually sealed in numbered archival holders. This lot will include Statements of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
