    Description

Chuck Yeager Signed P-51D Mustang "Glamorous Glen III" Model, 1/24 Scale, with Zarelli LOA. An impressive model, 15" long x 17.5" across the wings, on wooden stand bearing a metal plate that provides details of Yeager's experiences in World War II. Produced by SOCATEC, this is an incredibly detailed representation of the American fighter aircraft used heavily during WWII and the Korean war. Signed boldly on wing in black felt tip: "Chuck Yeager". Included with this lot is a full Steve Zarelli Letter of Authenticity, as well as a personal COA from Yeager accompanied by a photo of him signing the models. Still in original packaging. Excellent.

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
