    Charles Conrad: Two Display Mementos from His Personal Collection, One Signed. Two great items that would make fine additions to any space collection. As follows: (1) A 10" x 11" wooden shield-shaped plaque with the ship's insignia for the U.S.S. Guam - LPH-0, the recovery ship for his Gemini 11 mission. On an engraved plate below is the text: "Astronaut Charles Conrad/ Gemini Eleven/ Honorary Crew Member USS Guam". Fine condition; (2) An 8" x 12" x 0.75" tabletop wooden stand onto which is mounted yellow-striped and gray piece of equipment, 4.5" x 4.75" x 5", and an engraved plate: "Presented To 'Overspeed' Conrad From His Colleagues In Admiration Of His Consistency/ Jan. 30, 1970". On the bottom, he explains what it is: "Mock-up of/ LM Engine (Ascent)/ Cut-Off Switch/ Charles Conrad Jr/ Cdr Apollo XII". Conrad landed the Apollo 12 Lunar Module Intrepid within 200 meters of its intended target. Both in fine condition.
