    Buzz Aldrin: Five First Day Covers, Three Signed, All Originally from His Personal Collection. An interesting group of covers, as follows.
    U.S. Department of the Air Force: The 32¢ stamp celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Air Force, issued September 18, 1997, at Washington, D.C. Offered here are three similar unaddressed philatelic covers each with a different color cachet featuring Aldrin and each nicely signed in black ink: "Buzz Aldrin" in the blank address area.
    U.S. Military Academy: The 34¢ stamp celebrating the 200th anniversary of West Point, issued March 16, 2002, at West Point, New York. Two covers, one also bears a 5¢ West Point stamp from 1937 with an additional cancellation. These unaddressed philatelic covers have identical cachets with a photo of Aldrin in uniform as a member of the Class of 1951 at West Point. Unsigned.
    All are excellent.
