    Aviation: Physiological Training, Second Edition by Emile M. Scarpelli Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, Certified by Collectibles Authentication Guaranty with a Photo Certificate. (Brooks Air Force Base: School of Aerospace Medicine, circa 1956). A book "designed as a study reference for the student of Physiological Training..." Contents include: Physiological Principles, Survival Equipment, Operation of Physiological Training Unit, and a Reference Section. Likely used as part of Armstrong's training as a test pilot. It was at Brooks AFB that Armstrong took his medical exam in June 1962 on his way to being chosen as an astronaut. Soft covers, prong-bound, quarto, illustrated, 39 pages. Front cover loose but attached, otherwise very good. "Physiology" is handwritten (almost certainly by Armstrong) on the spine. This lot will include an encapsulated CAG Photo Certificate with a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
