    The very first flight of the lunar module

    Apollo 5: NASA "LM-1 Data Book" Associated with Two Flight Directors, Don Puddy and John Hodge. A 6.5" x 9.5" three-hole punched book prepared by Flight Control Division on cardstock held together with a binder ring, dated December 15, 1967, and marked "Revision A". The name "Hodge" is handwritten on the cover but is crossed out and "Return to Puddy" is added. As printed on the cover: "The LM-1 Data Book is a compilation of essential material extracted from Flight Control and contractor engineering documentation." The pages are color-coded to the following sections: "Nominal", "Contingency", "Network Info", "LM Systems", and "Procedures." Apollo 5 (ASS-204) was the first unmanned flight of the Apollo Lunar Module which launched atop a Saturn IB rocket into earth orbit on January 22, 1968. A rare and important manual.
