    Description

    Apollo 17 Flown Kapton Foil Segments in a Lucite Display. A 2.25" diameter x 3" tall truncated cylinder containing two small pieces of Mylar foil. In the base is an Apollo 17 mission insignia with the following information printed on the bottom: "A piece of the outer skin of the Apollo 17 Command Module 'America.' Removed following its historic flight to the moon; December, 1972. The Cernan Corp." Not common. Excellent.
