    Apollo 13 Training-Used Recommended Entry Monitoring and Backup Control Procedures for Apollo 13 (Mission H-2) Book Directly from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander James Lovell, Signed, with Signed LOA. A NASA publication #MSC-01850/ MSC Internal Note No. 70-FM-49, dated March 9, 1970, 69 pages, softbound, 8" x 10.5", five hole-punched and staple-bound. This procedures book contains detailed technical information with eight tables and twenty-one illustrations. Signed on the cover: "James Lovell". Uncommon. Very fine condition.

    Included with this lot is a signed Letter of Authenticity from Lovell on his company letterhead stating, in full: "I hereby certify that the 'Recommended Entry Monitoring & Backup Control Procedures' was used during training for the Apollo 13 flight. Apollo 13 perilous flight took off on April 11 and returned safely on April 17, 1970. This procedures book was from my personal collection of space artifacts and has been in my possession since the mission."
