    Apollo 13 Training-Used LM Rendezvous Charts Book Directly from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander James Lovell, Signed, with Signed LOA. A fourteen page book on 8.5" x 10.5" cardstock between two heavyweight covers, held together with two binder rings. The part number "SKB32100076-392" is printed on the front cover along with "LOVELL" written at the top. He has signed: "James Lovell" in black ink. On the title page inside, the revision date is listed as March 9, 1970. This was used in training and contained detailed information regarding the LM/ CM rendezvous after liftoff from the lunar surface. There are five tabbed cards with titles as follows: "CSI B/U Nominal Ascent", "CDH B/U Nominal Ascent", "CDH B/U Nominal Ascent", "First MCC", and "Relative Traj Nominal Rndz". Light rust from rings at hole punches, otherwise very fine.

    Included with this lot is a signed Letter of Certification from Lovell on his company letterhead stating, in full: "I certify that this LM Rendezvous Charts booklet was used during the training of the Apollo 13 crew. Apollo 13 perilous flight took off on April 11 and returned safely on April 17, 1970. This training book is from my personal collection of space artifacts and has been in my possession since the mission."
