    Description

Apollo 13 Flight Crew-Signed "President Nixon at MSC" Cover Directly from the Family Collection of Astronaut Richard Gordon. A philatelic cover cancelled at Houston on April 18, 1970. The Manned Spaceflight Cover Society cachet reads: "Commemorates the visit of President Richard Nixon to the NASA Manned Spaceflight Center to Present the Medal of Freedom to the Employees of MSC for their Heroic Support in Directing the Safe Return of the Damaged Apollo 13 Spacecraft, April 18, 1970, Houston, Texas". Signed in various inks: "James Lovell", "Fred Haise", and "Jack Swigert". First of these we've seen. Very fine.
