    Description

Apollo 12 Flown Large Size American Flag on Crew-Signed Presentation Mat Directly from the Family Collection of Mission Command Module Pilot Richard Gordon. An 11.5" x 8" cloth U.S. flag mounted to a 16" x 18" matboard along with a 4" diameter Crew Souvenir Patch by Dallas Cap & Emblem (we can't confirm that it flew, some did). Below the flag, the mat is signed "Flown to the moon on/ Apollo XII!/ Richard F. Gordon Jr", "Charles Conrad Jr", and "Alan Bean". The flag is in very nice condition with only minor glue bleedthrough on left and right edges. These larger flags make particularly handsome display pieces. Very fine.
