Apollo 11: Transcription of Director's "Apollo 11 Briefing 6/30/1969" as Used by NBC's Carl Stern in Reporting on the Mission in 1969, Directly from His Personal Archives. A forty-page (fronts only) 8.5" x 11" dittographed transcript of the press meeting held before the mission by Clifford Charlesworth, Gene Kranz, Milton Windler, and Glynn Lunney. Every question asked by the group of inquisitive reporters is noted along with the detailed responses from this Mission Control team. It would obviously have been a useful tool for a television journalist reporting on the mission. Prong-bound in a heavy cover labeled "Apollo Eleven Flight Director's Meeting 6-30-69". The first one of these we have encountered, contains a trove of valuable information "directly from the flight directors' mouths." Very fine.

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
