    "That's One Small Step..."
    "Magnificent Desolation"

Apollo 11: "Technical Air-To-Ground Voice Transcription" Dated July 1969 Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, CAG Certified. A post-bound 623 page (single-sided) book (2.625" thick) of 8" x 10.5", an early printing of the entire mission voice transcript, as prepared by the Data Logistics Office of the Manned Spacecraft Center. The introduction states: "This is the transcription of the Technical Air-To-Ground Voice Transcription (GOSS NET 1) from the Apollo 11 mission." Then it identifies all the abbreviations for the various voices heard in the transcript. We note on page 377 some words familiar to us all: "That's One Small Step For Man, One Giant Leap For Mankind" (CDR). Page 382 records Aldrin's first words: "Magnificent Desolation." A desirable printing of an important period document made exponentially more valuable by being a copy that was owned by Neil Armstrong himself. Light general wear, page 623 (tattered) is not attached but present, overall very good. CAG 1002049-003. This lot will include an encapsulated CAG Photo Certificate with a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
