    Apollo 11 Original NASA Glass Film Slide, an Image of Buzz Aldrin and U.S. Flag on Lunar Surface, Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, CAG Certified. A 2" square (sight size) positive transparency, NASA image AS11-40-5875, mounted in a hand-numbered 4" x 3.25" glass slide. It shows Buzz Aldrin posing for a photograph beside the deployed United States flag during an Apollo 11 extravehicular activity (EVA) on the lunar surface. The Lunar Module Eagle is on the left, and the footprints of the astronauts are clearly visible in the soil of the moon. Neil Armstrong took this picture with a 70mm Hasselblad lunar surface camera. Rare and desirable. Excellent, sealed in a numbered archival slab, CAG 1001746-006. Included with this lot is a color glossy photo of this image printed from the NASA archives. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
