Apollo 11 Lunar Module Flown and Surface-Used Camera Film Leader Strip, Signed and Certified by Richard Underwood, Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, CAG Certified. A 5" x 3" index card with a 2.75" x 0.25" strip of film attached by tape. The text reads "Film From The Moon/ This Is To Certify That The Attached Film Was Carried/ Onboard Apollo 11 On Its Historic Flight To The Moon,/ July 16-24, 1969, And Was Carried To The Surface Of The/ Moon By Astronauts Armstrong And Aldrin In The Lunar/ Module 'Eagle' On July 20-21, 1969." Signed in blue ink by Richard W. Underwood as NASA's Supervisory Aerospace Technologist. This is, by far, the largest segment of Richard Underwood-certified Apollo 11 LM flown film we have offered, it coming from Neil Armstrong who took most of the EVA photos. A very desirable relic. For many years this was on loan from the Armstrong family to the Armstrong Air & Space Museum in Wapakoneta, Ohio; their tiny penciled catalog number is found on the reverse. Lightly toned, very fine. Sealed in a numbered archival sleeve, CAG 1002096-017. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
