    Description

Apollo 11: Franklin Mint Lunar Module 1/48 Scale Die Cast Model with Similar Smaller Model. Two great representations of the Lunar Module Eagle on the lunar surface. As follows.
    (1) Issued for the 25th anniversary of the mission in a 500 piece limited edition, this gorgeous 5" tall x 7.75" x 7.75" model sits on an octagonal lunar surface base. The detail is amazing. Great display piece. Two tiny pieces need gluing, overall very fine.
    (2) A heavy all-metal 2.5" tall x 3" x 3" cast model with Neil Armstrong climbing down the ladder. The 1.625" tall wooden base bears an engraved plaque with his famous first words on the moon along with the mission and the date. Maker unknown. Very high quality. Excellent. From the Apollo 11 collection of Ronald Ulrich.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
