    Description

Apollo 11 Crew-Signed "Type Two" Insurance Cover with Dow-Unicover Cachet. A philatelic cover with the "Apollo 8" stamp (Scott #1371) affixed just below a pictorial machine cancellation from Kennedy Space Center dated July 16, 1969, the day that Apollo 11 was launched. The handsome "Apollo XI The First Step" cachet is by Dow-Unicover. To the right are the neat blue felt tip signatures: "Neil Armstrong", "M Collins" and "Buzz Aldrin". Type Two covers from this mission are, by far, the rarest. Excellent.
