Apollo 11 Crew-Signed "Type One" Insurance Cover with MSCSC Cachet, also with the Apollo 11 25th Anniversary Stamp and Pictorial Cancellation. A philatelic cover with the "Apollo 8" 6¢ stamp (Scott #1371) affixed, bearing a pictorial machine cancellation from Houston, Texas, dated July 20, 1969, the day that Apollo 11 landed on the moon. The color cachet features the text: "NASA Manned Spacecraft Center Stamp Club/ Official Commemorative Cover/ First Manned Lunar Exploration". It is boldly signed in blue felt tips: "Neil Armstrong," "Michael Collins", and "Buzz Aldrin". An additional Apollo 11 29¢ stamp attached with large Cape Canaveral cancellation dated July 20, 1994. No astronaut provenance. Interesting cover. Very fine.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
