Apollo 11 Crew-Signed "Robert H. Goddard" Plate Block with Handwritten Letter of Transmittal from Deke Slayton. A plate block of four 8¢ Air Mail stamps, signed in various inks: "Neil Armstrong", "Buzz Aldrin", and "Michael Collins". The handwritten letter, 5" x 8", of transmittal from Slayton reads, in full: "Dear Mr. Sakowitz, Enclosed are the stamps from the A-11 crew you requested. I was able to get only one plate block at the Cape Canaveral post office. Went by a couple times and they apparently had a big demand. Can possibly get one around here & have the crew sign at a later date if you wish. Sincerely, D. K. Slayton". Rare and incredibly well-provenanced. Excellent. From the collection of Robert T. Sakowitz.
