Apollo 1 Crew-Signed Photo from December 1966, Given to Their Personal Secretary for Christmas. An 8" x 10" glossy B&W photo of the three casually posed in front of an early version of their Apollo spacecraft, signed neatly and boldly in black felt tip above their images: "Ed White", "Gus Grissom", and "Roger Chaffee". In the lower margin is a notation by the original recipient: "December 1966 - Killed Jan. 1967". Also included in this lot is a snapshot B&W photo of White with his secretary and another lady, taken just days before the tragic Apollo 1 launchpad test. And, a photo of Charles Schulz drawing Snoopy on a NASA bulletin board (from June 1968). The lower part of the "R" in Roger is lightly brushed, otherwise very fine.
