Apollo 1: Collection of Original Materials Related to the Apollo 204 Accident Investigation including NASA's "Report of Apollo 204 Review Board" and United States Senate "Apollo Accident" Hearings, Parts 1-8. As follows.
NASA "Report of Apollo 204 Review Board": "To the Administrator National Aeronautics and Space Administration" as submitted on April 5, 1967. An 8" x 10.5" staple-bound book of nearly 200 pages, with photographs, illustrations, and pull-out charts. As stated in the Preface, the board was tasked to find out what caused this tragic accident: "The Nation's space program requires that man and machine achieve the highest capability to pursue the exploration of space. Three gallant men lost their lives in line of duty during the development of that capability. The Apollo 204 Review Board was charged with the responsibility of reviewing the circumstances surrounding the accident, reporting its findings relating to the cause of the accident, and formulating recommendations so that inherent hazards are reduced to a minimum." This book is a rare, original printing. Also includes a copy of the findings summary. Light wear, fine.
Congressional "Apollo Accident": "Hearing before the Committee on Aeronautical and Space Sciences United States Senate". Ten parts, each 6" x 9" staplebound, dated from February 7, 1967, to January 1968. Eight numbered parts with two additional un-numbered reports. An incredible transcript of the congressional hearing regarding this tragic accident. Very fine.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
