    Published by M. Witmark & Sons, with words by Paul Laurence Dunbar and music by Will Marion. Featuring an image of a group of small African-American children face-to-face with a large rooster.

    A large pillow with the embroidered illustration similar to that on the front cover of the "Who Dat Chicken in Dis Crowd". Above the sewn cartoon is a music bar complete with a treble clef and notes of the popular song.

    "Who Dat Say Chicken in Dis Crowd" was the main song performed in "Clorindy, or The Origin of the Cake Walk" which was the first Broadway musical with music and lyrics composed and written by African Americans, and performed by an all-black cast.

    Condition: The pillow has light wear with some spots of soiling. The sheet music is lightly toned and soiled. There is chipping and tears along the edges, with the pages being unbound/separated.
