    ACTRESS SOUVENIRS..

    Please note: Autographs from the Leonard Finger collection have not been autenticated by Spence/Grad but we believe these autographs to be as stated.

    Group of ten items, primarily related to prominent actresses. There are three brooches: an 1 1/2 x 2" porcelainized photograph on stone of Ellen Terry as Portia, a sepia celluloid likeness of Agnes Huntington, and a carnelian cameo of Shakespeare. We have two bars, in their original wrappers (minor faults), of Maxine Elliott toilet and complexion soap. A 2 1/2 x 3 1/2" ceramic dish has a portrait of Mary Anderson and is accompanied by a 38mm. white metal token of Anderson issued by the Union Coffee Company of N.Y. A 12 1/2" lithographed tin ledger mark depicts Maud Granger and advertises the New England States insurance company (light to moderate wear and rust). Finally, two RARE AND EARLY STANHOPES are offered. A single lens version shows A VERY YOUNG LILLIAN RUSSELL. A set of binoculars shows LILLIAN RUSSELL on the left and the NEW CASINO THEATRE in NY on the right.
