Please note: Autographs from the Leonard Finger collection have not been autenticated by Spence/Grad but we believe these autographs to be as stated.

Includes: ten slick handouts (the best being for "The Skin of Our Teeth"), fifty assorted programs, playbills, and flyers of fairly routine nature ranging from 1892 to 1960s, and forty pieces of more interesting and graphic early material in all forms and sizes. Some examples: souvenir program for Jane Cowl in "Within the Law", promotional programs for the "Great Moral Drama Drink","Her Fatal Sin", Chauncey Olcott in "Terrence", "Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch" (together with die-cut handout), "The Earl of Pawtucket", pictorial booklet for Belasco’s "The Governor’s Lady", complete illustrated postcard album for "Too Many Crooks", Annie Russell in "Esmeralda" (1882), 1910 postcard for Sothern & Marlowe repertoire, Neil Burgess in "The County Fair" (1891), early colored lithography handouts for Belasco’s "May Blossom", "Shadows of a Great City", 1887 Drummond Tobacco company premium booklet ("Dedicated to lovers of the weed") of Ed Harrigan’s song "Never Take the Horseshoe From the Door" and a 1920 program of the Dramatic and Musical Show at Sing Sing Prison (assume incarcerated former actors or agents played the parts). In larger items, we have a three-part 1914 calendar with portraits of Richard Mansfield in Shakespearean roles, graphic brochure and flyer for "In Old Kentucky", large broadside for the Gray Sisters (circa 1880), fun flyer for the "sensational romance...The Heart of Texas" (1904), a "Sample Copy" issue from 1880 of "Harrigan & Hart’s New York Boys" newspaper, and an early broadside of that old chestnut "Ten Nights in a Bar Room." The Leslie Carter program has a litho by Alphonse Mucha. Mucha posters are very collectible and command very high price.
