Please note: Autographs from the Leonard Finger collection have not been autenticated by Spence/Grad but we believe these autographs to be as stated.

Being French, most of this stuff tends to be a little racy (the French really knew how to put on a show!) The programs are practically all small format. Includes: Otero at the Olympia 1901, inaugural program at Concert Mayol of "Cache Ta Pudeur", Parisian Cabaret at Chez Fischer with cartoon card, Madame Arthur’s Cabaret (men disguised as women play all the parts!), 1919 Gaumont Palace (cinema), 1926 program for totally nude show at the Gaity Theatre, four Folies-Bergere, one Empire Music Hall/Circus, four Casino de Paris (1924, 1932 and 1933 with one duplicate), "Le Petit Chaperon Rouge" at the Chatelet (1900-1), postcard advertising play, two foldout flyers for Mistinguett appearing in New York at the Winter Garden in "Innocent Eyes", a portrait of Mistinguett (fold), large souvenir program and publicity still of Hildegarde at the Theatre des Champs-Elysées, large format Concert des Ambassadeurs (circa 1900), booklet with caricatures "Les Chansonniers de Montmartre et D’Ailleurs" by A. Barrere, ten publicity stills of Folies Bergere stage numbers with two of the original negatives, portrait of dancer Claude La Mara, card for "Le Petit Mexique" strip-tease, and 1931 postcard for "La Chauve Souris" cabaret. Sold with three pieces of German, Dutch, and Spanish ephemera for night clubs and a Mucha-like illustration for "The Dollar Princess" in German.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
