    World War II Era Abercrombie & Fitch Bowie Knife and Scabbard. 8 1/2-inch clip point blade with sharpened back edge. Ricasso marked, MADE IN MEXICO/FOR/ABERCROMBIE/&/FITCH. Brass guard with slightly curved back quillons. Stacked leather grip with two white spacers. Brass pommel and nut. Contained in fine-grained, brown leather scabbard with belt loop, snap closures and original, unused sharpening stone. Reverse marked with Hidalgo maker's mark. Condition: Excellent. Blade with light scabbard wear. Brass with mellow patina. Grips with light age wear. Scabbard fine with age wear, light patina and scattered scuffs.
