    Victorian Copy of a Clamshell Sword.
    47-inches in overall length with a 38-inch straight single edge blade employing two deep and wide fullers on each side. Blade marked with makers make near ricasso. Clamshell is composed of an ornate pattern with a punch pattern outlining the grooves. Decorated shaped pommel. Twist design quillons with simple hammered ends. Wooden grip.     Condition: Good. Overall a smooth dark patina with scattered areas of pitting and surface rust. Interior of the clamshell shows moderate pitting and rust, exterior with dents and bruising. Repair to clamshell is present from the outside. Blade a possible replacement. Grip with numerous dents and mars.
