    Description

    U.S. Model 1902 Officers' Presentation Saber. Regulation saber with 31¾" straight plated blade with etched panels decorated in floral scroll and military devices, named to "WESLEY B. MARSHALL". German silver half-basket guard and carved horn grips. Dull nickel metal scabbard with two mounting rings. The scabbard bears the presentation: "PRESENTED TO/ LT. WESLEY B. MARSHALL/ BY MEMBERS OF/ BTRY. D. 105TH F.A./ FEBRUARY 1ST 1938". A bit of light scratching on the blade from scabbard wear, otherwise in excellent condition.
