    U.S. Model 1852 Naval Officers' Sword, Circa 1867-1896.
    29 ¾-inch bright, slightly curved blade, etched on both sides naval motifs, floral designs and a panoply of arms. Maker marked Shannon, Miller and Crane, New York. Gilded brass hilt and wire-wrapped fish skin grips. Complete with gold wire sword knot. Black leather scabbard with gilded brass mounts.

    Condition: Very good. Blade with light surface rust and scattered areas of staining. About 50% gilding remaining on hilt. Scabbard leather scuffed, some traces of gilt on mounts, tip with a few shallow dents.
