    Description

    U.S. Model 1852 Naval Officers' Sword and Sword Belt. Regulation naval officers' sword with a 27-inch bright blade acid-etched on either side scroll work and naval motifs. Obverse ricasso marked "Made in U.S.A.". Gilded-brass hilt with wire-wrapped ray skin grips. Gold bullion officers' sword knot. Black leather scabbard with gilded mounts. Black leather sword belt complete with handing straps and buckle and keeper.

    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 90% gilding. A sword is a bit loose in the scabbard. Leather sword belt shows modest wear from use.
