    U.S. Model 1841 Naval Cutlass and Artillery Short Sword.
    Including: 1.) A Model 1841 naval cutlass with a 20 ¾-inch bright, double-edged blade. This example with no maker's marks. Brass hilt with a broad brass guard. Accompanied by the brass throat and remnants of the leather scabbard. 2.) Unidentified artillery short sword with a 19 ¼-inch single-edged blade. No visible markings. Iron handle. Leather sheath with metal throat and tip. Round stud for mounting to a frog.

    Condition: 1.) Very good. 2.) About very good. Some pitting to hilt and spotting to the blade. Scabbard with moderate wear.
