    Description

    U.S. Mark I Trench Knife. Brass handle with pointed knuckle guard. "U.S. 1918 / L.F. & C.-1918" cast on obverse side of handle. Blackened 6 ½" double-edged blade. Original metal scabbard inserted in a brown leather scabbard. The blade retains approximately 65-75% black finish with light sharpening marks along the edges. The metal scabbard is lacking the mounting hooks. The leather scabbard displays a large area of dry rot. Very good condition.
