    Description

U.S. M1860 Light Cavalry Saber. Blade with smooth dark patina, markings very weak but US visible. Just some light sharpening near the hilt, minor, and a previous owner lightly numbered it on the blade with an electric pencil. All issues easily dealt with. No rust, pitting or nicks. Guard excellent with nice patina, just one minor bend, no cracks or breaks. Grip retains 50% of the original leather and all of the brass wire. Scabbard has an old coat of silver paint but no rust or pitting, although a few dents.
