    U.S. 1840 Pattern Musician's Sword. 28-inch straight nickel-plated blade with deep fuller. Ricasso marked, "US/ADK/1862." Reverse with, "??? & CO./CHICOPEE/MASS. Brass cross guard, knucklebow and circular ribbed grip. Marked AHC. Ball finial pommel. Guard draped with black and orange knot. Sold together with brass scabbard mounted with belt stud.
    Condition: Good to very good. Blade retaining approximately 80-85% original nickel plating with scattered stains and nicks to blade. Mellow age patina to guard with scattered dents and scratches. Braid very good, complete but with some dryness. Scabbard good with age patina. Numerous scratches and dents.
