Two German-Made U.S. Cavalry Sabers. Including: 1) 1840 heavy cavalry saber manufactured by Henry Boker, with a 34 ½" slightly curved blade marked on the obverse ricasso "Henry Boker / Solingen". Blade has been lightly sharpened and has a slight bend a few inches from the tip. Iron scabbard lacking both throat screws. Still, a solid example in very good condition. 2) 1860 cavalry saber manufactured by Weyersburg, Krischbaum & Company. The blade measures about 35" in length and the WKC knight's helmet logo is stamped on the obverse ricasso. The wooden grip lacks the leather covering but the wire wrap is still present. The iron scabbard has a few trivial shallow dents, but the sword, despite the lack of grip covering is in very good condition.
