    Description

Three Handsome Forged Bowie Knives, all unmarked and ca. 1870s. All show signs of real use as hunting and skinning knives, and all are formidable weapons. a. Long (16 ½") staghorn gripped knife with steel fittings and a 5 ½" sharply-honed false edge on an almost 11" blade. b. Big knife with a slightly curved back and trailing point, a bone handle with an iron bolster and single rivet. Overall 15-3/8" with 10" blade. c.
