Description
WWII Manchukuo Imperial Army (Japanese Occupied Manchuria) Enlisted Mans' Sword. 25-inch slightly curved, bright blade; 33 ¼-inches overall. Metal hilt components are polished brass. Brown leather grip with wire wrapping. Painted, crossed Manchurian flags on the back strap. Brown leather sword knot asks as knuckle bow. Brown painted metal scabbard with single mounting ring.Condition: Very good. Hazy blade with light scabbard wear and a few light nicks to the cutting edge. Leather wrap on the grip worn to the wood in spots. Scabbard retains the majority of the brown paint with minor scuffing and scratching.
