    Description

    WWII Japanese Officer's Kai-Gunto Sword.
    25-inch slightly-curved, bright blade with narrow fullers on each side running to within 1-inch of the tip. Unsigned tang with three holes. Iron tsuba with gilded flower and butterfly motif. Brown cloth-wrapped rayskin handle with gilded menuki. Ornate fuchi with gilt highlights. Black enameled wooden scabbard with gilded-brass mounts and hardware.

    Condition: Near excellent. Bright blade with only minor handling marks and wear. Kashira is loose but still attached.
