    U.S. Naval Officer's Dress Sword Belonging to J.A. Stahl. 30¼-inch straight blade etched with floral scrolls, patriotic and naval motifs. Name panel etched: J.A. Stahl. Ricasso marked: Herman, Conn./Brooklyn, N.Y. Standard pattern gilt-finished brass guard pierced with acorns, oakleaves and riband reading: U.S.N. Wire-wrapped fishskin grip. Brass bullion sword knot. Contained in original black leather scabbard with engraved brass mounts with figure 8 knots and oakleaf banding. Two hanger rings. Drag with sea serpent motif. Condition: Very good to excellent with light wear and age patina.
