    Description

U.S. National Armory Sword with 1872 Hanger Set.

Highly decorated 33 3/4" blade with "National Armory" engraved at the top of the blade. Along the blade is fine etchings with "US" on one side and an eagle on the other. The blade is in excellent condition. The leather wired grip looks untouched. The guard and pommel are ornately decorated with an eagle, stars and a shield. The scabbard retains its hangers and drag, with just a few areas of wear. The hanger set is likely original to the scabbard. Overall a stunning National Armory sword. The Bill Bentham Collection.
