    Description

    U.S. Model 1860 Staff and Field Officers' Sword. 29" straight, bright blade etched with panoplies of arms, geometric designs and an eagle. No maker marks. Gilded-brass hilt; wire wrapped fish skin grips. Plated metal scabbard with brass mounts, drag and throat. Blade with minor tarnish otherwise a nice, late example in very good condition.
