    Description

    U.S. Model 1850 Staff and Field Officers' Sword Manufactured by Ames. 32 ½" slightly curved blade etched with floral scroll. The blade has a smooth gray patina and a few areas of light surface rust. The blade has been lightly sharpened. The gilding is worn thin on the hilt but the grip is complete with wire wrap. The sword is offered without a scabbard. Very good condition.
