    Two Starr Contract Noncommissioned Officers' Swords.
    Including: 1.) Starr Contract of 1812-1813 cavalry saber with a 32 ¾-inch, slightly curved blade, iron hilt and grooved, leather-wrapped wooden handle. Obverse marked "P / HHP/ N. STARR". No scabbard. 2.) Starr Contract of 1818 cavalry saber with 32-inch, bright slightly curved blade with wide fullers running to within 6-inches of the point. Obverse marked "US / P / LS / N. STARR". Iron guard, leather-wrapped handle. Iron scabbard with two mounting rings.

    Condition: 1.) Good. Smooth gray patina to blade with some mottled dark spots. 2.) Very good. The blade remains mostly bright with some scattered dark spots and minor scabbard wear; a large section of the leather wrap is missing; scabbard with an overall dark patina.
