    Description

    Spanish Colonial Cavalry Sword. 41-inch straight blade with single fuller. Marked: xx IHN xx Soligen xx on both sides of valley. A few other markings not identified on blade. Slighlty curved quillons. Wire wrapped grip and globe shaped pommel cap. Wrought iron guard with pierced designs attached with two screws. Together with Certificate of Authenticity from noted Historian Dr. F. Don Nidiffer. Circa 1700s according to COE. Overall length: Approximately 48-inches.
    Condition: Good to very good. Showing age wear and mild to moderate patina with some areas of pitting. Possibly replaced screws. Loose wire on handle.
