    Description

    Signed Japanese Wakizashi.
    18 inch slightly curved bright blade with one hole in the tang. Gilded-brass habaki; round iron tsuba simply decorated with various designs including a serpent and with gilt accents. Ray skin handle with black cloth wrapping. Plain fuchi and kashira. Black-lacquered wooden scabbard.

    Condition: Very good. One small chip in the cutting edge about 3 ½-inches from the tip; a few small fukure on the obverse side of the blade.
