    Pair of German Swords Without Scabbards. Includes a Prussian Model 1889 Infantry Officer Degen manufactured by W.K. & C., Solingen. Bright blade but the grips are missing small sections of the covering and all the wire wrap. The other sword, of unidentified type, has a 35" slightly curved, etched blade with wide fullers terminating at the false edge. The blade is etched with floral patterns and panoplies of arms. There is knight head logo on the obverse ricasso (W.K. & C.?). The gilded-brass hilt has a half-basket style guard. Most of the fish skin covering is absent but portions of the wire wrap remain.
