DescriptionMuromachi Period Short Katana with Yoshinobu Signature c1530s. "Uchi keka" Muromachi Period. Aka One-handed katana with 21-inch slightly curved polished steel blade. Tang is signed: YOSHINOBU. Pierced iron tsuba. Contained in leather-wrapped military-style scabbard. Yoshinobu lineage dates to the 1350s.
Condition: Very good to fine. Bright blade showing signs of having been sharpened. Some light spotting. Small patch of kizu left side of blade near tsuba. Scabbard good with light crackling to the leather.
