    Lot of Two WWII Japanese Army Officers' Shin-gunto. Comprising: 1.) Civilian sword in military mounts, signed, 25 ¼-inch blade; 36-inches overall. Cloth-wrapped white ray skin handle. Interesting menuki (two tightly wrapped to properly identify). Stylized cross tsuba with delicate floral engraving. Fuchi and kabutogane likewise decorated. No scabbard. 2.) Army officer's sword with 22-inch blade; 32 ½-inches overall. Cloth-wrapped wood handle. Open-work brass tsuba with four cherry blossom design. No scabbard.

    Condition: 1.) Very good. Blade with surface rust, needs to be put back in polish. 2.) Good. Blade with some minor blemishes. Ray skin wrap lacking. No scabbard.
