    Lot of Two U.S. Socket Bayonets and Two U.S. 19th Century Swords. Includes: 1) Tiffany and Company Non-Regulation Cavalry Sword with a 35 ½" slightly curved blade, leather covered wood grips and brass wire wrapping. Plated, half-basket hilt. Metal scabbard with two mounting rings. Blade with scattered dark spots of surface rust. Plating worn on the scabbard. Sword does not seat into scabbard. 2) U.S. Model 1840 Heavy Cavalry Saber with an 1853 date and Ames maker's mark. Leather covering missing as is a portion of the wire wrap. Good condition in a painted scabbard. 3) Pair of U.S. Socket bayonets with 3" sockets and 18" blades. Good condition. From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg.
